The Sunset is coming!
Another exciting summer series of out-door, open-air movie screenings are
coming to Seddon Park, Hamilton.
The movies are held on the Seddon Park big screen. The big screen is
usually reserved for replaying the action of international cricket stars, however
once a year the action will be a bit more…“Hollywood”.
Movie-goers get access to the cricket ground itself for a once a year
opportunity. The event is open to the public and all are invited to enjoy a night
watching the stars under the stars.
Tickets have been affordably priced for all to attend at only $10 an adult and
$5 a child per screening pre-sale. Ticketek booking fees apply. Ensure you
snap up your tickets pronto as sessions sold out for the 2020 series.
This four-night series kicks-off on Thursday 4 March with the screening of
Austin Powers - International Man of Mystery. Myers plays a world-class
playboy and part-time secret agent form the 1960s emerges after thirty years
in a cryogenic state to battle with his nemesis Dr. Evil.
Friday 5th catch Hanks in the inspiring classic ‘Forrest Gump’ for a night all
the family will enjoy.
Swayze then takes centre stage Saturday 6th for a ‘Dirty Dancing’ night out
that promises to impress.
The finale Sunday 7th March, is an event for all the family where ‘Frozen’ hits
the big screen. The first movie in this wonderful and heart warming Disney
series still finds a way to keep both the kids and the adults entertained.
The scene will be set with a DJ, popular food trucks and a bar to ensure the
night is an epic one.
So get ready to don your picnic attire, swing your beanbag, picnic rug or
inflatable chair and book your ticket now. Tickets will be selling like
hot…popcorn and a likely to sell out again
