Ko Whiri Tika Mai is the Primary and Intermediate Regional Kapa Haka Qualifier for Manawatū, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. There are 10 schools competing for 3 spots in the National ‘Te Mana Kuratahi’ kapa haka competition in Nelson (Te Tau Ihu o te Waka, 2021). Suitable for all ages.

Session 1:
Ross Intermediate: 9.30am – 9.55am
Te Kura o Te Awahou - Foxton Primary School: 10.00am – 10.25am
Feilding Intermediate: 10:30am-10:55am
Central Normal School: 11.00am – 11.25am
Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Manawatū: 11.30am – 11:55am

Lunch Break: 60 minutes (12:00pm – 1:00pm)

Session 2:
Te Kura Waenga o Tirohanga - Monrad Intermediate: 1.00pm – 1.25pm
Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Tamaki Nui A Rua: 1.30pm – 1.55pm
Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Mana Tamariki: 2:00pm – 2:25pm
Levin Intermediate: 2:30pm – 2:55pm
Levin East School: 3:00pm – 3:25pm

Afternoon Tea: 30 minutes (3:30pm – 4:00pm)
Prize Giving: 4:00pm
